About us

The Severn region has huge expertise in ultrasound in the intensive care environment. Members of the faculty have published research in critical care echocardiography and have previously sat on the ICS FICE Committee.

Severn FICE ran their first course in February 2017 and have received positive feedback every step of the way.

After developing a successful platform of FICE courses  – we built on that experience and ran the first CUSIC course in the Severn region in January 2019. Delegates commented that it was an “excellent course” and that “overall very good, perfectly sized groups with engaged and enthusiastic educators.”

In 2020 Severn FICE and CUSIC became Severn FUSIC inline with the national change in branding by the Intensive Care Society.
